Latest ankle CT source files

The archive contains all 2,402 DICOM objects exported on the disc: 2,214 CT images, 184 secondary captures, 3 presentation states and 1 radiology report.

Names, dates, provider details and other identifying metadata were removed. The 3D captures and clinic control sheet also have identifying text covered in the image itself. All other pixels, and all pixels outside those covers, were verified unchanged. The complete original disc, including its proprietary viewing software, is retained in a private backup.

Download the complete CT

One ZIP, 381.9 MiB. Extract it and open the dicom folder in your DICOM viewer.

Each part is verified before the complete ZIP is saved.

Individual parts and manual download

Download every part below into the same folder. Each part is at most 20 MiB; together they form one ZIP archive (381.9 MiB). On a Mac, open Terminal in that folder and run:

cat ct_scan_1.zip.part* > ct_scan_1.zip
shasum -a 256 ct_scan_1.zip
unzip ct_scan_1.zip

The combined archive checksum must be:

15d3fbae5e74e44d5324f1df8cce4382ef1eb4208e2c09aa8a7cecbed5a03270

Open the extracted dicom folder in a DICOM viewer. The archive preserves source images and geometry; it does not include the original disc's viewing programs or its identifying directory file. Original clinical dates are absent; required report/presentation dates use the clearly synthetic value 1900-01-01.

Six reformatted series each begin with a reference image containing dense slice-position lines and a different image plane. These were preserved exactly; a 3D viewer must group images by compatible orientation and spacing instead of stacking the entire series blindly.
